Summer Bazaar Car Wash Saturday 6/6 @9AM-5PM, New Building Parking Lot

We will be doing another car wash this year. It was a great success last year, let's wash even more cars! Please sign up for one or more of the four shifts; we need a lot of manpower as we wash, dry, and vaccuum cars, all going towards the missions work our church is doing.

Princeton Volleyball Tournament Deadline - 5/5, Event - 5/9

QPEM will be sending a team to compete in the annual Princeton Volleyball Tournament on May 9 against other churches. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy the warmer weather with a time of fellowship, and cheer on the team. Rides are being offered and a BBQ lunch will be provided. Please sign up here by May 5 so we can finalize transportation and food.

New Building Opening Neighborhood Party
Saturday 5/23 @11AM-2PM, New Building Parking Lot

QPEM and CM will be having a joint opening day for the neighborhood on Saturday, May 23 from 11AM to 2PM. We will be serving free food to whoever comes and welcoming them to the church. Please join us in welcoming our neighbors.

T4 Memorial Day Picnic
Monday 5/25, Bethpage state Park (picnic)

We will be having our annual joint fellowship with all four congregations on Monday, May 25 at Bethpage State Park.

We are in need of volunteers to help with the logistics at the church and park. If you are interested, please speak with Elder Jay.

Men's Retreat
June 19-21, Grove Hall Retreat Center

Early-bird registration closes on 5/1
Final registration closes 5/24

QPEM will be having its bi-annual men's retreat from Friday, June 19 to June 21. We will be staying at Grove Hall Retreat Center in New Jersey.

Early bird pricing is $150 for standard rooms. For our 35+ men, we are offering rooms with private bathrooms for $200. The rooms are limited so we’re operating on a first come first serve basis. Early bird price will only be available until May 1st.
Open registration prices are $175 for standard rooms, and $225 for rooms with a private bathrooms.

This is a great opportunity for our brothers to fellowship and spend intentional time in growing how to be men who can serve our church and our families. Other details and a link to the retreat center’s website can be found on the form.

Zoom Bible reading with Sanford home residents
Weekly on zoom

We are looking for volunteers to do a weekday Bible reading once a week with members of the Sanford group home. Please reach out to Elder David Shin, Deacon Jenny Whang or any members of the Missions board if you are interested.

Franklin Nursing Home Bible Reading Sessions
Mon/Wed/Fri @ 4:30PM-5PM Via Whatsapp (NOT IN PERSON)

Join us as we read God's word with the residents at New Franklin Nursing Home. Volunteers are needed. Contact Deacon Jenny Whang if you're willing to help out!
