Queens Presbyterian English Ministry


	A ministry of the Korean American Presbyterian Church of Queens

The purpose of Queens Presbyterian English Ministry (QPEM) is fourfold:

Worship: The first purpose of this church is to be a community of God’s people, glorifying and serving Him in Queens and beyond. This purpose is accomplished by worshipping God in spirit and in truth, becoming aware of His Holiness, knowing and obeying Him, growing in His Word, praising God through His Word, praising God through the music ministry, fellowshipping with one another, and reaching out to those in spiritual and physical need.
Christian Maturity: As a church, we are to continue a strong pulpit ministry, teaching the Scriptures and the Lordship of Christ, developing discipleship and stewardship among us through devotion of our time, talent, and treasures to the service of God, and building a greater sense of community among us.
Mission: The third purpose and vision of this church’s ministry is to concentrate on evangelizing English speaking people in the Metropolitan New York area. The focus, therefore, is to minister by endeavoring to propagate, to defend, and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Service: The final purpose of the church is to train and to advocate church members to dedicate themselves in serving our ministry, our church, and our people. God is calling us now to a greater understanding and practical application of the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all areas of life.
